Our lives and experiences take us in many directions and sometimes it can be hard to make sense of or process it all. I can offer you a warm, non-judgemental space to explore and talk it through – together we will work on gaining deeper insights into emotions and patterns in your life.
After having spent many years working in the City with large companies as a project manager, I changed the direction of my career and I now help people reconnect with themselves and build inner strength.
I am a psychodynamic counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP registered number: 412913).
Alongside running my own private practice, I work as a staff counsellor at Highgate Counselling Centre.
What is psychodynamic counselling?
Psychodynamic counselling is a style of therapy where we will talk about and look at what is going on in your life now but also what has happened in your past. It is when we start noticing and understanding the patterns in our life, and we work through the emotions with those experiences together, that we can get a better understanding of ourselves and our relationships.
Not only do we carry our life experiences in our mind, body and memory, but our emotional impressions are often played out in other areas of our life, like in our dreams. I see dreams as an important way to gain a deeper insight and perspective into our existence.
For me psychodynamic counselling is a journey of self-exploration that we undertake together. By becoming more used to listening inwards to our own true self, we can find new ways to relate to ourselves and the world around us.

Fees and structure
In psychodynamic counselling we meet weekly at an agreed time. I usually work on an open-ended basis, which allows us to explore issues in a deeper and more meaningful way, but also offer short-term counselling on specific issues. We can discuss what suits you at this stage in your life.
I work with adults over 18 years of age only.
My fee is £80 per 50 minute session.
