Charlie Robinson

Dip. Integrative Counselling (Minster Centre), MBACP
Charlie Robinson - Integrative Counsellor

There are times in life when we can feel lost, overwhelmed, or weighed down by difficult emotions. You might be struggling in your relationships, feeling stuck in familiar patterns, or finding it hard to be kind to yourself. If this sounds familiar, you may be looking for a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore what’s going on and feel supported to make sense of things.

I’m Charlie (she/her), a qualified integrative counsellor offering talking therapy in East London (Walthamstow) and online. I’ve worked with people from a wide range of backgrounds through my roles at the charity Mind and in a private low-cost therapy service. I support people with many different challenges, including:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Feeling stuck and powerless
  • Grief and loss
  • Trauma
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Identity questions
  • Neurodivergence
  • Low self-esteem
  • Major life changes.

I believe our struggles don’t exist in isolation. They’re often shaped by our relationships and by wider social, political, and material conditions. I work in an affirming way with gender, sexuality, and relationship diversity, and with neurodivergent clients, including autistic people and those with ADHD. I also have experience supporting people living with chronic illness and chronic pain.

Alongside this, I value the magical and mystical dimensions of life, including our connection to the more-than-human world. Before retraining as a counsellor, I worked as a jeweller and within the wellness field. These backgrounds inform my therapeutic style, which is grounded in creativity and intuition. I believe there are many possible paths towards understanding and healing ourselves.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities and philosophies, adapting my work to suit each client’s individual needs. This may include relational, psychodynamic, existential, body-psychotherapy, and Jungian approaches. I work collaboratively with my clients to explore what feels most helpful, supportive, and meaningful for them.
