How I Work
I offer a curious, compassionate and non-judgemental space. Therapy is collaborative; we make sense of things together. I aim to create a space that feels safe enough to explore difficult emotions and patterns. At the same time, I may gently challenge you (always with care) to help you notice recurring themes, past experiences and ways of relating that may be shaping your present.
We usually begin with what feels most pressing, while gradually exploring the wider context of your life.
I see therapy as a place to practise new ways of relating, helping you feel more resourced in the outside world.
An Integrative, Body-Aware Approach
I pay attention to both your verbal narrative and your body’s narrative. Mind and body are equally important and deeply connected. Your body often holds its own story.
This way of working supports deepening the connection with yourself as well as the regulation of your nervous system. It may include practices such as body awareness, breathwork, bioenergetic exercises, biodynamic massage, touch and body mapping.
